Hinterzarten captivated me with its serene ambiance and amazing views. The hotel was like a well-maintained retreat. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony. Daily towel changes showed attention to detail. Breakfast was very good, especially the vegan options like fresh fruit and cookies. I loved that the kitchen staff packed a special lunch bag for our early departure-it was thoughtful and delicious. The hotel has an outdated feel, particularly in the bathroom, but this added to its charm for me. The staff were helpful and accommodating.

A spacious double room with a lovely balcony provided a relaxing retreat. The extensive breakfast offerings were a highlight, with an excellent array of local specialties. The restaurant pricing was a bit high, leading us to explore dining options nearby, and the service during dinner could be slow at times, particularly during peak hours. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, inconvenient for planning our daily excursions.

We enjoyed exploring the beautiful Black Forest area, with so many activities to choose from. The breakfast was a highlight for us, boasting the largest buffet selection we've encountered. My wife and I appreciated the spaciousness of our room and the fine view from the balcony.
My wife says that the restaurant service could be quicker.

It was just an ideal choice for a fleeting moment in Hinterzarten with great value for the money. I really appreciated the staff's assistance in carrying my luggage to my room. If you're looking for a quick meal nearby, check out local spots instead of dining in the hotel restaurant.

My friends and I had the best time exploring the area! The hotel is perfect for outdoor activities. We went skiing at Feldberg Ski Resort and enjoyed a round of golf at Golfclub Hochschwarzwald. Ski equipment hire was super convenient. The staff also provided us with a ski shuttle.
One thing I noticed was that the restaurant service could be a bit slow during peak hours, a tad frustrating after a long day of skiing.
